Placeholder content. Replace this file with your actual Privacy Policy before public launch. For an app that touches minors' data, the policy needs to address: parental consent (Alley Connect uses parent self-attestation, an FTC-recognized COPPA consent method), data retention for graduated minors, guardian severance flows, and message fan-out to guardians. A lawyer review is recommended before public launch. Bump PRIVACY_VERSION in lib/legal/versions.ts when the content changes materially so existing users are re-prompted to accept.

1. What we collect

Account data (email, password hash via Supabase auth), profile data (name, gender, birth date, optional phone, optional USBC number, optional location), bowling activity (scores, RSVPs, team memberships), and messages sent within the app.
